Essential Qualifications:
| Upper Division Clerk (UDC) –> | A degree of recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks. |
| Driver (Ordinary Grade) –> | (1) 10th Class (Matric) Pass. (2) Possession of a valid driving licence to drive light and heavy vehicles; (3) Knowledge of motor mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle); (4) Consolidated experience in driving a light or heavy vehicle for at least 3 years. |

Selection Process:
(1) For Stipendiary Trainee (Category-I) -> Written examination will be conducted and will comprise of objective (multiple) type questions. Final selection and ranking will be on the basis of the performance of the candidates in interview. No weightage will be given for marks scored in the written examination. The decision of RRCAT in this regard will be final.
(2) For Stipendiary Trainee (Category-II) -> The selection process will consist of test in 3 stages. (Stage 1 & 2 - Written Test and Stage 3 - Trade/Skill Test).
