✅ Pay Scale:
✔️ Professor (Contractual) : Academic level 14 with rationalized entry pay scale of ₹ 1,44,200/- plus DA as per 7th CPC.
✔️ Associate Professor (Contractual) : Academic level 13A1 with rationalized entry pay scale of ₹ 1,31,400/- plus DA as per 7th CPC.
✅ Educational Qualifications:
Professor:
(1) Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
(2) Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate
Professor.
(3) At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI
journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion. (OR) At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC /AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.
Associate Professor:
(1) Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either
Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch.
(2) At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
(3) Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of
which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

✅ DBRAIT Written Exam Syllabus:
✔️ Basic Science: The topics will be of X std. science level.
✔️ Basic Math’s: The topics will be of X std. maths level on number system, algebra, basic geometry, arithmetical computation of whole number, decimal and fraction and relationship between numbers.
✔️ General English: The topics will be knowledge of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms etc. There may also be question based on comprehension of a passage.
✔️ General Awareness / General Knowledge: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to the society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current affairs. The test will also include questions relating to A&N Islands and other States of India especially, pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economics, Science, current affairs, General Polities and Scientific Research etc.
