✅ Age Limit:
✔️ For General Duty / Technical: Born between 01 July 1997 to 30 June 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
✔️ For CPL-SSA: Born between 01 July 1997 to 30 June 2003 (Both dates inclusive).
✔️ Age Relaxation for reserved categories as per Government Rules.
✅ Pay Scale: ₹ 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 2400/-
✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ General Duty:
(1) Bachelor's Degree with with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (i.e. 1stSemester to 8thSemester for BE/B.Tech Course or 1styear to last year for Bachelor Degree candidates wherever applicable).
(2) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XIIth of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with 60% aggregate in Mathematics and Physics.
✔️CPL-SSA:
(1) Candidates holding current /valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued/ validated by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
(2) Minimum educational qualification – XIIth pass (Physics and Mathematics) with 60% marks in aggregate.
✔️ Technical:
(1) Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate or Should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in any of the discipline listed below with 60% marks:- (a) Engineering Branch.Naval architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace. (b) Electrical Branch.Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engg. Or Power Electronics.
(2) Atleast 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths in 12th class. (OR) 03 years diploma course with an aggregate of 60%.

✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years.
✔️ For Navik (GD) and Yantrik: Born between 01 April 2000 to 31 January 2004 (both dates inclusive).
✔️ For Navik (DB): Born between 01 April 2000 to 31 March 2004 (both dates inclusive).
✔️ Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.
✅ Pay Scale and other Benefits: On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay of ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
✅ Educational Qualification:
✔️ Navik (General Duty): 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
✔️ Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
✔️ Yantrik: 10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
✅ Medical Standards:
✔️ Medical examination will be conducted by authorised Military Doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry.
✔️ Height: Minimum height is 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
✔️ Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
✔️ Weight: Proportionate to height and age +10 percentage acceptable.
✔️ Hearing: Normal.
✔️ Visual Standard: 6/36 (Better Eye) and 6/36 (Worse Eye).
✔️ Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Stage I: Computer Based Online Examination
✔️ Stage II: Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification, Re-assessment of Inconsistent Performers, Initial Medicals Examination
✔️ Stage III: Document Verification, Final Medicals at INS Chilka
✔️ Stage IV: The candidates are to submit all the original documents and verification of all original documents through boards/ universities/ state government will be carried out by Indian Coast Guard.
✅ Examination Fee:
✔️ Navik (General Duty): Basic pay of ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
✔️ Navik (Domestic Branch): Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
✔️ Yantrik: Basic pay ₹ 29200/-(Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ ₹ 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
