The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Patiala invites Online Application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Principal, Head Master / Head Mistress and Block Primary Education Officer in the Department of School Education, Punjab. The last date for registration of online applications is 30th April 2020.

Educational Qualifications:

Principal: (1) Post Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or Engineering in any stream with minimum 50% marks from General Category and 45% marks for SC, ST and OBC, BC or PWD. (2) Minimum 03 years relevant experience.

Head Master / Head Mistress: (1) Should have passed Graduation with minimum fifty-five per cent (55%) marks. (2) Should have passed Degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or institution except in case of persons working to the posts of Vocational Masters or Vocational Lecturer or Computer Masters or Computer Faculty as per University Grants Commission Guidelines. (3) Should possess teaching experience for a minimum period of three years against the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director. (4) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

Block Primary Education Officer: (1) Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks. (2) Candidates should have passed 02 year Elementary Teacher's Training course OR 02 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) (OR) Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed). (3) Should possess teaching experience of working as Primary School Teacher for a minimum period of three years in any Government School under the control of the Director (Director of Public Instructions, Punjab). (4) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
