South Eastern Railway Apprentice 2020 Centralised notification updated on 9th January 2020. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time, in Workshops and other establishments of South Eastern Railway (SER), Kolkata. Vacancy Trades: Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Mechanic, Machinist, Painter, Refrigerator & AC Mechanic, Electronics, Painter, Cable Jointer / Crane Operator, Lineman, Winder, Turner, Trimmer, Forger & Heat Treater, MMTM.

Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years as on 1st January 2020. The Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation / 10th Class / SSC pass (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) granted by the NCVT.

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹ 100/-. There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates. The fee will have to be made through Online Payment Gateway.

Selection Process: Based on educational qualification marks - merit list

How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through RRC South Eastern Railway Apprentices Recruitment Portal. The closing date for registration of online applications is 03/02/2020 up to 5:00 PM.

The stages in registration are as:-

Preliminary Stage -1	Select Unit. Sub Unit and Trade and Disability (if any) and confirm.
Preliminary Stage - II	Candidate's basic details including email id/ mobile No. etc.
Activation Stage - III	Validation of Email ID & Registration Number generation and email/sms will be sent to the email id /mobile no. registered.
Documents Uploading Stage-IV	Upload of Scanned Photograph & Signature.
Payment Stage -V	Payment of Application Fees of ₹ 100 (if applicable)
