Essential Qualifications:
(1) The minimum essential qualification for appointment as Assistant Professor is Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
(2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET and having acquired Ph.D shall be granted in accordance with UGC Regulations).
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
Application Fee: ₹ 500/- for General (UR) and OBC Category Candidates. The fee can be made through Online Mode using credit / debit card / Net banking. There is no fee for SC, ST, PwD and all category Women Candidates.

Educational Qualifications:
Professional Assistant ->
(1) M.Lib.Sc. / M.L.I.Sc. or Equivalent with 50% marks (OR) Master's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib. Sc./B.L.I .Sc with 50% marks.
(2) Computer Science paper at Graduate/PG level or Six months Computer Science course from a recognized institution.
Semi Professional Assistant ->
(1) Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline or any other higher qualification with 50% marks.
(2) B.Lib.Sc./ B.L.I Sc. With 50% marks.
(3) Course in Computer Applications at Graduate or PG level or a 6 months computer course from a recognized institution.
Library Assistant ->
(1) Passed Senior Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by State Board of Education/ University/ Govt. recognized institutions.
(2) Certificate in Library Science/Library and Information Science from a recognized institution.
(3) Computer Course at Sr. Secondary Level or Basic Course in Computer Science / Word Processing from a recognized institution.
Application Fee: ₹ 200/- for UR / OBC, ₹ 100/- for SC / ST, No fee for PwD. The payment of fee can be made through demand draft in favour of Principal, ARSD College, payable at Delhi. Candidate should write his/her name, post applied for, category and mobile no. on the back side of demand draft.
