Scale of Pay: ₹ 15,600 – 39,100 + AGP ₹ 6000/-
Educational Qualifications:
| (1) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian / Foreign University. |
| (2) Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC. Howerver, the candidates who have obtained Ph.D degree, shall be exempted form the requirement of minimum eligibilties of NET / JET. |
Mode of Selection:
| (1) Selection will be made on the basis of academic qualifications, experience and performance in the Interview. |
| (2) Educational qualifications shall carry 75 marks, experience 5 marks and publication 5 marks out of a total of 85 marks allotted. |
| (3) Interview shall carry 15 marks. |
| (4) Screening of the applications will be done in reference to the documents provided by the applicants. On the basis of the allocated marks Merit List will be prepared and three times number of candidates for each post will be called for Interview. |
