Educational Qualification:
(1) Law Graduates/ Post Graduates from University/ College recognized by the Bar Council of India shall be eligible to apply.
(2) Serve as Law Assistant provided that the applicant has passed LL.B./ LL.M. Examination within two years of the date of publication of advertisement for being considered for such selection.
(3) Candidates having familiarity with computer will get preference in the matter of selection.
(4) Their candidature must be recommended by a designated Senior Advocate of this Court or by the Head of the last law school/ college/ university attended by him.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
| (1) Bachelors Degree in any faculty or its equivalent from a recognized university. Preference may be given to Law Graduates. |
| (2) Unless the candidates is an Honours Graduate in English or a Post Graduate in English, he must have obtained 50% marks in English at the intermediate examination. |
| (3) The candidates shall possess a certificate of English shorthand and English typing from an recognized institute / university. |
Selection Process: (1) English shorthand-typing test with minimum speed of 80 W.P.M. for 800 words only i.e. at the rate of 80 W.P.M. for 10 minutes and 35 minutes for its transcription along with 15 minutes for revision of shorthand immediately after dictation, (2) Typing (English) speed of 40 words per minute, (3) English language and grammar test, (4) Knowledge of Computer applications, (5) Oral Interview.
Examination Fee: Candidates are required to pay ₹ 700/- only for GENERAL/ BC/ EBC category candidates, ₹ 350/- only for SC/ST candidates and ₹ 175/- only for PH candidates as examination fee online only.
