Age Limit: 21 to 38 years as on 1st January 2019. The upper limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC / MOBC and 10 years for PWD.
Educational Qualifications:
Lecturers -> At least 55% marks in MFA (History of Art) from a recognized University as per norms of Guwahati University/ UGC. Preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC/ NET or equivalent exam.
Law Posts -> (i) An Advocate enrolled under the Advocates Act 1961 who has been practising as such for at least 03 years; or (ii) A Judicial of at least 03 years standing; or(iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a degree in Law and having 3 years experience as such officer or with 02 years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 03 years; or (iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 05 years experience as such officer or 02 years experience as Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 04 years.
Application Fee: ₹ 250/- only for General; ₹ 150/- for SC / ST / OBC / MOBC Category. The Fees should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “NON TAX REVENUE, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC” showing name of post and department. Original copy of Treasury Challan should be submitted along with the application form.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply in APSC Prescribed Application Form. The name of the post applied for should be clearly written in “bold letters” in the Envelope containing the application form and it should be addressed to the Deputy Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022.
The last date of receiving duly filled up application form in the Commission’s office is fixed on 17/10/2019 during office hours.

Age Limit: Between 21 years to 38 years as on 01/01/2015. Relaxation for upper age will be considered as per existing norms.
Scale of Pay: ₹ 15,600/- to ₹ 39,100/- PM and Grade Pay of ₹ 7000/- PM plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Selection Process: Written Test / Interview.
(1) Commission may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms of advertisement. (OR)
(2) By holding Screening test (Multiple choice objective type written examination) which will be notified in due course.
