Pay Scale: ₹ 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 2400 / ₹ 1900.
Minimum Qualification: Graduate in any subject / discipline.
Selection Process: Written Test and / or Skill Test / Technical Test.
Application Fee: ₹ 500/- to be paid by Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of NIFT Kolkata, payable at Kolkata. SC/ ST/ Female and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee as per GOI rules.

Qualification and Experience:
| (1) Master's Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject / English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject / PG degree in any subject with English Medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject / PG degree in any subject with Hindi Medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject. |
| (2) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and Vice Versa or 02 years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking. |
Selection Process: Written Test. The test will consist of two papers – Paper I and Paper II.
