Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment:
GP ₹ 2800 OR ₹ 2400/- -> Represented the Country in Olympic Games Category-A) OR At least 3rd position in any of the Category-B Championships/Events.
GP ₹ 200 OR ₹ 1900/- -> Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/ Events. OR At least 3rd position in any of the Category-C Championships/ Events. OR At least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/Junior National Championships. OR At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. OR At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. OR 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Selection Process: Selection will be based upon performance in Aports Trial and Interview/ Certificate Verification to be conducted and finalized by a nominated selection committee. The venue & date for Trials and Interview/ Certificate Verification will be intimated to the eligible candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format on good quality A-4 size white paper. The duly filled application along with a a set of legible Xerox copies (self attested) of all certificates, in proof of Sports Achievements, Educational Qualification, Age, SC/ST/OBC etc. addressed to Chief Personnel Officer, GM's Building/CLW, P.O.- Chittaranjan, Distt.- Burdwan, Pin- 713331 (West Bengal). The Candidates can also drop their applications directly in Drop Box placed at Dy. G.M.'s Office/CLW, in the office premises, during the office hours.

Application Fee (A Non-Refundable): All candidates should submit with the application an Indian Postal Order (IPO).
(1) ₹ 500/- for General and OBC candidates. The fee drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan.
(2) Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis)}, Persons WithDisabilities, and those belonging to economically backward classes(whose family income is less than Rs.50,000/-per annum) should submit with the application an Indian Postal Order(IPO)(issuedonly after the date of this notification) - ₹ 250/- drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan.
How to Apply: A candidate may submit separate application for separate discipline. Common written test will be held for the said two (02) different disciplines. The 'Practical Demonstration' for the said two (02) different disciplines will be held separately. The Written Test shall be held on 20/03/2017 at 11.30 hrs at D.V.(Girls')School/B.M, CLW/Chittaranjan.
Candidates are required to submit the application form in the prescribed format in good quality A-4 size white paper. Applicant should enclose with the application a set of legible Xerox copies of all certificates, in proof of Educational and Cultural Qualification, age, caste certificate, PH certificates etc duly attested by any Gazetted Officer or self attested.
