Minimum Educational Qualification:
Horticulture Extension Worker (Contractual) -> Pass in +2 (Matric with +2) Science or +2 Vocational course in Agriculture related subjects only such as Crop Production (CP) / Horticulture (Hort.) / Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM).
Village Agricultural Worker -> Pass in +2 Science or +2 Vocational course in Agriculture related subject in Crop Production/ Horticulture/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven farm Machinery from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institution. Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic under Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology shall be desirable and 05% of the marks secured in the Written Examination of the post shall be awarded extra for such qualification.
Examination Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC are required to pay exam fee of ₹ 100/- (A Non-refundable) between 30th November 2016 to 31st December 2016. The fee exempted for SC, ST Category and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates. The fee can be deposited through online mode (OR) by by the conventional mode of deposit in any Government Treasury under the Head of Account, "0051-RS.C-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fee-0047-Fees Collected for Conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213".
Selection Process: Common Written Examination. The exam of total 220 marks in Two papers for both the posts of Horticultural Extension Worker and Village Agricultural Worker.
How to Apply: All eligible candidates are required to Apply Online through OSSSC Website from 30/11/2016 to 07/01/2017.
