Northern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices for filling up 1092 vacancies under the Apprentices Act 1961 for imparting training at various Divisions/ Units/ Workshops. Northern Railway Apprentice 2019 online registration will be open from 31st December 2018 and close on 31st January 2019.

Detailed Notification of Northern Railway Apprentice recruitment 2018-19 available on RRC NR official website (www.rrcnr.org) from 27th December 2018. The online registration portal will be open from 31/12/2018 to 31/01/2019.

Northern Railway engagement of Apprentices for filling up 3162 Vacancies at various Divisions/Units/Workshops over Northern Railway under the Apprentices Act 1961. Eligible and Desirous Candidates apply online through RRC NR Website for recruitment of Apprentices 2018, Online applications will be open from 28th December 2017 and close on 27th January 2018.

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 27th January 2018. Age relaxation for various categories/ community shall be applicable as per rules as amended from time to time.
Essential Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th class / Matric examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and must have passed ITI in relevant trade recognized by Government.
Physical Fitness: A person shall be Eligible for being trained under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time, if he/she satisfies the minimum standards of physical fitness as prescribed in the aforesaid Act and Rules and the standards prescribed for imparting training to the relevant trades which will be certified by a Railway Doctor.
Application Fee: A Non Refundable fee of ₹ 100/- (Examination Fee) for General (UR) and OBC Category Candidates. The Exam Fee is to be paid through Online Payment Mode. There is No fee for SC /ST / PH / All Women Candidates.
Selection Process: The Selection purely based on Matriculation and ITI Marks. The Selection of Act Apprentices is to be made on the basis of merit prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation (with Minimum 50% aggregate marks) & ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
How to Apply: Eligible ITI Passed candidates Apply Online through RRC Northern Railway Website from 28th December 2017. The closing date for Online Application is 27/01/2018 up to 17:00 Hours.
