NIT Puducherry Non Teaching Recruitment 2019 notification has been published in Employment News paper 22nd December 2018. National institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment of Assistant Librarian, Technical Assistants, Superintendent/ Accountant, Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Technician and Multi Tasking Staff Attendant / Driver. The last date for receipt of applications is 4th January 2019.

Essential Qualifications:

Assistant Librarian |
Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 60% marks or an equivalent Professional degree or its equivalent. |
|
Technical Assistant |
First Class in B. E. / B. Tech in relevant subject or equivalent grade (OR) First Class Diploma in Engineering in relevant Field with excellent academic record. |
|
Superintendent/ Accountant |
First Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent (OR) Master’s Degree with excellent academic record. Knowledge of Computer applications viz. word processing, spread sheet. |
|
Stenographer |
Matric with Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m in Stenography. |
|
Junior Assistant |
Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum Typing speed of 35 W.P.M and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet. |
|
Technician/ Lab Assistant |
Senior Secondary (10+2) and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade (OR) Matric with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade (OR) Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field. |

Multi Tasking Staff Attendant / Driver |
Matriculation or ITI pass in relevant subject/ area. For Driver - Matric or ITI pass with a valid driving license for driving an LMV/HMV and 03 years driving experience. |
Selection Process: Skill / Proficiency Test and/or Written test and/or Interview.
