Age Limit:

Group 'C' -> UR - 18 to 29 Years, OBC - 18 to 32 Years, SC / ST - 18 to 34 Years
Group 'D' (Erstwhile) -> UR - 18 to 32 Years, OBC - 18 to 35 Years, SC / ST - 18 to 37 Years

Educational Qualifications:

Category-1 Group 'C' -> HSC or Equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. (Minimum 50% marks is not applicable for SC/ST candidates, Ex-servicemen and for the candidates of any category possessing higher qualification) (and) Scouts and Guides Quota Qualification.

Category - 2 erstwhile Group 'D' -> Passed Class 10th or equivalent (and) Scouts and Guides Quota Qualification.

Selection Process: Written Test, Scouting Skill Assessment and Marks on Certificates.

Examination Fee: ₹ 100/- is payable in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of 'Chief Cashier, Western Railway, Churchgate payable at Mumbai for the post of Group 'C' and erstwhile Group 'D' (This Examination Fee is not refundable / transferable / adjustable under any circumstances).

The Employment Notification No. RRC/WR/03/2018 (S&G Quota) for recruitment against Scouts and Guides quota for the year 2018-19 which was scheduled to be published in the Employment news on 1st December 2018.
