University Grants Commission UGC invites applications from eligible persons for engagement of Consultants for UGC - Institutions of Eminence Secretariat on contractual basis, initially 01 year, which may be extended up to 03 years. Apply within 15 days from the date of advertisement.

Essential Qualifications:

Joint Secretary –>

Doctorate in any discipline with First or second class Master’s Degree.
At least 12 years of experience of teaching/ research in any University or college or educational administration in higher education.
Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or With 5 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay level–12, Rs.78,800-2,09,200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department.

Deputy Secretary –>

First class Master’ Degree of a recognized University with a good academic record.

At least 7 years’ experience of teaching/ research in University or college or Educational Administration in higher education.

Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or With 5 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay level 11, Rs.67,700-2,08,700 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department.

Education Officer –>

Master’s Degree with minimum of 55% of marks from a recognized University.
05 years of experience of teaching/ research/ Educational Administration
