Age Limit: Minimum 15 Years and should not have completed 24 Years of age as on 30th October 2017. The Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 Years in case of ST / ST Candidates, 03 Years for OBC Candidates.
Educational Qualification: ITI Pass in required / concerned trade to be eligible for consideration. The candidates must have passed 10th Class Exam or its equivalent with minimum 50% Marks in aggregate rom Recgonized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) / ITI Pass in required / concerned trade issued by NCVT / SCVT.
Application Fee: A Non Refundable fee of ₹ 100/- for General and OBC Category candidates. The fee payment will have to be made Online Payment Gateway during filling Online Application Process. This fee exempted for SC / ST / PWD and All Women Candidates.
Selection Process: The S lection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.

Eligibility:
(a) Only Serving Regular Railway employees of North Western Railway are eligible working in grade:- (1) Lower than the grades/ pay for which GDCE is being held. (b) Those candidates who are appearing in and/or awaiting results of final examination of minimum qualification as on closing date (12/10/2017) are not eligible. Academic qualification must be from recognized Educational Institution/Board, otherwise candidature will be rejected at any stage of selection.
Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT) OR Written Examination followed by aptitude/Speed/Skill test (wherever applicable), Document Verification and Medical Examination.
