Calculation of Marks in UPTET 2018

• All questions are multiple-choice in nature. There are 4 answer choices for each question.
• For every correct answer, 1 mark is awarded.
• There is no negative marking in UPTET.
• In case the candidate has marked more than one answer, it is treated as a wrong answer.
• If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is given by the candidate; zero marks will be awarded for that question.

How to Challenge UPTET Answer Key 2018?

UPBEB will declare the answer key for UPTET in December 2018. It will also allow challenging the answer key, if any discrepancy is found. In such a case, you may follow the instructions given below:

1. Send an email to uptethelpline@gmail.com. Write a short & pointed email, which comprises of the following-

• Serial Number
• Level of UPTET (Primary or Upper Primary)
• Question Booklet Series
• Question Number
• Answer (As per official answer key)
• Right Answer (By the candidate)
• Proof of the answer by candidate

2. Clearly write about any wrong answer or any other objections, and do not forget to attach the proof.

3. Pay the requisite fee

4.  Allowed formats are – MS Excel, MS word, and Times new Roman font.

5. The authorities will go over each of the objection raised by the candidate and pass the verdict in the form of final answer key after a few days.
