Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released indicative advertisement of SSC JHT 2018 notification again as published in Employment News Paper 20th October 2018, previously published on Employment News Paper 02-08 June 2018. The SSC is going to conduct combined recruitment examination of Hindi Translators (JHT Exam 2018-19) through filling the vacancy post of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak. The SSC Translators Examination, 2018 Online registration will be open from 22nd October 2018 and close on 19th November 2018.

Minimum Educational Qualification:
Junior Translator –> | (1) Post Graduate in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or vice versa. (2) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and Vice Versa or 02 years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice Versa in Central or State government office, including Government of India undertaking. |
Senior Hindi Translator –> | (1) Master's degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or English with Hindi is elective subject or equivalent. (2) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and Vice Versa or 03 years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice Versa in Central or State government office, including Government of India undertaking. |
Junior Hindi Translator –> | Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level (OR) Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective). (2) Candidates must ensure that they have studied English and Hindi as main subjects in all the three years of Graduation pass course. |
Hindi Pradhyapak –> | (1) Bachelor's degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional plus Master’s degree in any subject plus Bachelor of Education. (OR) Bachelor’s degree in any subject plus Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional plus Bachelor of Education. (2) Desirable - Two years experience of teaching Hindi at Senior Secondary level under Central or State Governments or recognized educational Institution. |
Application Fee: ₹ 100/- for General and OBC category candidates. There is no fee for SC / ST / Women / Pwd candidates. The fee can be paid through SBI challan or SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Rupay Credit or Debit Card.
