Educational Qualification:
For Posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200/- with corresponding Grade Pay ₹ 1900 -> 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of ST/SC/Ex-Serviceman and for candidates who possess higher qualifications such as Graduation/Post Graduation etc.) (or) Act Apprenticeship / ITI. No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering will be accepted as an alternative qualification.
For Posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200/- with corresponding Grade Pay ₹ 1800 -> Minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent OR 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th plus ITI.
Scouting / Guiding Qualifications:
(1) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
(2) Should have been active member of Scouts Organization for the last 05 years. The 'Certificate of Activeness'.
(3) Should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railways Level.
(4) 02 events at State Level.
Selection Process: Written Examination (50 Marks), Scouting Skill Assessment (10 Marks) and Marks on certificates (40 Marks).
Application Fee: ₹ 250/- for C/ST communities, Women, Ex-serviceman, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zorastrians (Parsis)}, Persons With Disabilities, and those belonging to economically backward classes Candidates; ₹ 500/- for all others (General) Candidates.
