Railway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway (NER), Gorakhpur invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Group 'C' posts against Cultural Quota for the Year 2018-19. The last date for receipt of online applications is 15th October 2018.

Age Limit: 18 to 31 Years as on 1st January 2019. Age Relaxation as per GOI Rules.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 ₹ 5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹ 1900 (6th CPC).
Essential Qualification:
| (a) For technician-III -> Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade (Recognised by SCVT, NCVT) and for other posts, 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The compulsion of 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates. |
| (b) Candidate should possess Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Dance / Music as the case mat be from Government recognised Institute. |
Desirable Qualification:
(1) Experience in the field and performance given on All India Radio/ Doordarshan etc.
(2) Prizes won at National level.
Recruitment Process:
(A) Written Test consisting of 50 objective type questions-50 marks.
(B) Assessment of talent in the relevant field: (i) On the basis of practical demonstration-35 marks (ii) On the basis of Testimonials/ Prizes etc.- 15 marks. (Total 100 marks)
Examination Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC category and ₹ 250/- for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and Economically BC. The fee should be made through Online mode.
How to apply: Eligible candidates apply online through North Eastern Railway Recruitment Portal. The online application form should be filled in step-by-step procedure given on the official webpage. All the required fields must be filled up carefully. Candidates must upload the scanned copy of the following in the format provided in the application form:- (a) Recent photograph, (b) Signature, and (c) Certificate of fulfilling Minimum Cultural Qualification criterion. The last date for submission of online applications is 15th October 2018.
