Educational Qualification and Experience:

Joint Director (Plant Health Engineering) ->

(1) A First Class M.Tech. / M.E. in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Farm Machinery and Power / Soil and Water Conservation.
(2) Specialisation can be established by work experience, paper publication, subjects studied exclusively in Post-Graduation.
(3) Minimum work experience of 12 years of which at least 4 years of experience in Design and Operational Management of Equipment relating to Pesticide Application, Water Technology (SWC), Quality Control aspects in Agricultural Engineering.
(4) Experience in Research, teaching / training in the respective fields will also be considered as the required work experience.

Financial Advisor ->

(1) A first class or high second class Bachelor Degree, preferably in Commerce from recognised university or equivalent.
(2) 15 years experience in accounts work holding responsible supervisory/administrative position.

Assistant Director (Plant Health Management – Horticulture & Floriculture) ->

(1) A First or High Second Class (5.7 OGPA and above) Master’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture with specialization in Plant Pathology (OR)
(2) Master’s Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology (OR)
(3) M.Sc. in Horticulture with research area in Plant Pathology.
(4) Minimum work experience of 5 years (3 years for candidates with Ph.D.) of which at least 3 years of experience in Integrated Disease Management.

Assistant Director (Pest Surveillance) ->

(1) A First Class or High Second Class (5.7 OGPA and above) Master’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture with specialization / research area in Plant Pathology/ Entomology / Nematology OR Plant Pathology / Entomology / Nematology OR Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology OR Zoology with specialization in Entomology / Nematology OR Agronomy with project work on Weed Science.
(2) Minimum work experience of 4 years (2 years for candidates with Ph.D.) in Plant Protection work.

Scientific Officer (Pest Risk Analysis) ->

(1) A First or Second Class Masters’ Degree in Plant Pathology / Entomology. (OR) Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology / Entomology / Nematology.
