Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF), New Delhi has published recruitment advertisement for the post of Sub Inspector (Works) and Junior Engineer / Sub Inspector (Electrical) posts in BSF Engg set up 2018 by direct recruitment basis. Apply within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News paper dated 1st September 2018.

Educational Qualifications:
| Sub Inspector (Works) –> | 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government. |
| JE / Sub Inspector (Electrical) –> | 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government. |
Examination Fee: Each application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft (DD) / Postal Order for ₹ 200/- as examination fee in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post Office at the location or nearby station. However, fee is exempted for all Women candidates and male candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe, BSF Candidates & Ex-serviceman.
Selection Process: First Phase Examination (Written Examination), Second Phase Examination (Documentation, Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test).
How to Apply: Application in the prescribed format. The duly filled applications may be sent to any of the BSF addresses nearest to the candidate within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment news paper.
Last date: 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News Paper (i.e. Last date is 01/10/2018) and 45 days for candidates of far flung areas (i.e. Last date is 15/10/2018).

Application Fee: ₹ 100/- only payable as examination fee through Demand Draft (DD) / IPO in favour of the addressee where the application form is being submitted by the candidates. No fee for all female candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST , BSF Candidates and Ex-servicemen.
Selection Process: Written Examination, Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical Test and Medical Examination.
Application of candidates duly filled up in the prescribed format required to reach at recruitment centers in advertisement within 30 days for Normal area and 45 days for far flung area from the date of publication of the notice in Employment News which is as under. Normal area- Closing date is 1st October 2018. Candidates belonging to areas of North Eastern State, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir Sate, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands or the Union territory of Lakshadweep within 45 days from the date of publication of advertisement in employment news. i.e . Closing date is 15th October 2018.
