Public Service Commission, West Bengal has published advertisement for recruitment to the post of Lecturer in various engineering subjects in Government Polytechnics in the West Bengal General Service under the Department of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development. The closing date for receipt of online applications is 13th August 2018. All posts are temporary but likely to be permanent.

Educational Qualifications:

Sub Inspector –>	(a) A second class Honours or a second class Master’s degree of a recognized University or its equivalent; (b) A Bachelor degree in Teaching or Education from a recognized University or its equivalent; (c) Good knowledge in Bengali/Nepali – spoken and written & (d) Ability to undertake extensive tour on official duty.
Motor Vehicles Inspector –>	(a) Must have Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University; (b) Must have the minimum physical standard.
WB Audit and Accounts Service –>	Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University or must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or must be a Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or MBA/PGDM (FINANCE) or equivalent post-graduation degree in Finance under 2 (Two) years full time regular course approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Application Fee: ₹ 600/- for Sub Inspector and Motor Vehicles Inspector posts. ₹ 210/- for West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Examination, 2018. There is no fee for SC / ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates.
