Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Engineer (Civil) ->
(1) Degree in Engineering (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
(2) The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
(3) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both.
Geologist ->
(1) Post Graduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-technical Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or Possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government.
(2) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(3) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Joint Technical Advisor (Precision Instruments) ->
(A) Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with first class (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology) and Possess a post-graduate degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology); or Master’s Degree in Business Administration; or Degree or Diploma in Post-graduate Programme in Management of minimum two years duration or
(B) (i) Possess a Doctorate(Ph.D.) Degree in engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering or Technology) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other Educational institution recognised as such by the Government or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Technical Advisor (Chemical) ->
(1) Master degree in Chemical Engineering or Petro-Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other Educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or Possess an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Chemistry (after Graduation in B.Sc. Engineering) from IIT.
(2) Have about 10 years’ experience in the field of Environment Protection, Pollution Control, Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil Refining or Oil and Gas Industries in the Government or Government Undertaking, Board, Corporation, Local Body, Limited Company established under the companies Act, 2013 or in the Government Project, out of which 3 years’ experience on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of class I, in the Gujarat State Service.
Project Manager ->
(1) Possess at least Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology except Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Rural Management or Entrepreneurship Development obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be a deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education. 1. Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(2) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
(3) Have about five years’ experience after obtaining the educational qualification on the post not below the rank of the Technical Assistant, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Cottage and Rural Industries, Gujarat State; or Have about five years’ experience after obtaining the educational qualification in the field of administration in the Government, Local Bodies, Government Undertaking, Board, Corporation, Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of the Technical Assistant, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Cottage and Rural Industries, Gujarat State.
Social Welfare Officer ->
(1) Bachelor's Degree with Social Work or Bachelor's Degree with Rural Study or Bachelor's Degree with Rural Management or Bachelor's Degree with Sociology OR Post Graduate Degree with Social Work or Post Graduate Degree with Rural Study or Post Graduate Degree with Rural Management or Post Graduate Degree with Sociology or Post Graduate Diploma with Rural Management.
(2) About 03 OR 05 years experience on the post not below the rank of Social Welfare Inspector, Class-III in the Subordinate Service of the Directorate of Developing Castes Welfare, Gujarat State. OR About 03 OR 05 years experience in Government or Local bodies or Government Undertaking, Board or Corporation or Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or the Institution or Non-government Organisation working in the field of Social Work on the post of Welfare Assistant or officer which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Social Welfare Inspector, Class-III in the Subordinate Service of the Directorate of Developing Castes Welfare, Gujarat State.
Town Planner ->
(1) Possess a degree in Architecture or Civil engineering obtained from a University established by law in India; or its equivalent qualification from and Institution recognised by the Government; and (2) A post graduate degree or post graduate diploma in City planning or Town planning or Traffic and Transportation planning or Regional planning or Urban Design awarded by University established by Law in India or by an institution recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education or a membership obtained by examination of Institution of Town Planners of India, New Delhi, Provided that preference shall be given to a candidate having the knowledge of relevant Computer Software, and
(3) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
(4) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(5) Have about 05 years experience on medium or higher level post in the Organization in the field of Urban or Regional or Traffic and Transportation planning or urban design gained after obtaining the qualifications as specified above.
Assistant Director ->
(1) (a) possess a Second Class Master degree in any branch of Horticulture or (b) (i) a Second Class bachelor’s degree in any branch of Horticulture and (ii) have about three years exclusive or combined experience in Horticultural Research or Horticultural Extension Service or Horticultural Education or Horticultural Engineering (c) the qualification specified in clauses (a) & (b) shall have been obtained from any of the Universities or institution established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956.
(2) The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General ) Rules, 1967.
(3) adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology and Assistant Consumer Affairs Officer ->
(1) Possess a Second Class degree in Physics as a Principal subject or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Electronics Engineering or Chemical Technology of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be deemed University as a under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
(2) Posses he basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(3) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
