Food Corporation of India (FCI) Zonal Sports Promotion Committee, Chennai invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for direct recruitment of Sports Personnel against Sports Quota in the post of Assistant Grade III (General / Depot). The last date for receipt of applications is 6th August 2018.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1st January 2018. The upper age relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.
Pay Scale: IDA pay scale of ₹ 9300 – 22940/-
Educational Qualification: Graduation / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with proficiency in Computers.
Eligibility:
| (1) A University in the Inter University Tournament conducted by the Inter University Sports Board; and / or |
| (2) A combined University team in the National and World University/ International competition; and/or |
| (3) A State in the National competition; and / or The country in any International competition |
| (4) The Country in any International competition. |
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Trials and Verification of Original Documents.
How to Apply: (a) Application should be neatly typed /filled in the prescribed format in A-4 Size paper. (b) Self-Attested Xerox copies of all the required documents in support of Age, qualification, sports achievement, caste, etc. are to be attached with application form. Sports certificates should be submitted in the respective Form (Form 1/2/3/4/5). (c) Applications complete in all respects & duly signed by the Applicant be placed in a sealed envelope. (d) Envelope shall be super-scribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSTT. GRADE III (GENERAL/ DEPOT) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA". (e) The envelope containing the applications complete in all respects be sent by ordinary post to:- The P.O.Bag No.1072, Greams Road Post Office, Thousand Lights, Chennai -600 006. The last date for receipt of applications is 06/08/2018, For candidates belonging to J&K and N E States, last date for receipt of applications will be 21/08/2018.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will undergo Written Examination and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
About Written Exam: The Written Test will be comprise of 120 Multiple Choice Questions of General Knowledge, Aptitude consisting of Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Current Events and Numerical Ability. The duration of written exam is 120 Minutes. All questions carry equal 1 mark. There will be no negative marking. The Question Papers for Written Test will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.
