Stipend: The Ship Draftsman Trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of ₹ 10,500/-pm during the first year of training, ₹ 11,500/-pm during the second year and compensation for extra hours of work limited to ₹ 4200/- pm. No other payment will be applicable.
Educational Qualification: SSLC pass and 03 Years Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical disciplines issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks or equivalent qualification with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.
Selection Process: Written Test and Practical Test. The Test to be held at Kochi. The written test is objective type and will include questions on General Knowledge, General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Discipline related. Based on the marks secured in the Written Test, the candidates will be short-listed for the Practical Test. For the practical test, candidates are required to prepare a drawing using CAD.
