Eligible Qualifications:
Professor ->
(1) A Candidate with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned / relevant discipline and published work of high quality, with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers, of which at least five papers in refereed journals in the previous cadre.
(2) A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
(3) A minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ extension in university/college or accredited Research Institutions including experience of guiding candidates for research, in the cadre of Assistant Professor and above, with at least two years of experience in the Associate Professor cadre or equivalent.
(4) A minimum score as stipulated in the academic performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the UGC guidelines communicated by the ICAR.
Associate Professor ->
(1) A candidate with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / relevant disciplines.
(2) A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed).

(3) Must have registered with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council and must keep the registration alive by renewing it regularly every year.
(4) Practical experience in the working of a Pharmacy approved by the State Pharmacy Council for a period of not less than five years.
Nursing Assistant ->
(1) Must have passed VIII Std. in a recognized school.
(2) Must have passed the nursing assistant training course examination conducted by the Government Medical College Hospital of Tamil Nadu or other Institution recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu.
(3) Experience as Female / Male Nursing Assistant in a Government Hospital or in a Hospital of repute for a period of not less than one year.
