Educational Qualifications:
| Radio Officer (Trainee) | Matric + 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (under regular scheme) with valid Indian GMDSS. |
| Doctor Assistant | Degree or Diploma in General Nursing. |
| Catering Officer | Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management Catering / Hospitality Management. |
| Oiler | Pre Sea training from a D.G. Approved Institute OR Working Experience as Oiler with Merchant Ships. |
| Electrical Officer (Trainee) | Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, EEE, Electroncis and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering or equivalent qualification. |
Eligibility: Candidates are required - Valid Indian CDC, Passport, STCW Certificates, Passenger Familiarization Course Certificate and Security Course.

Indian Air Force (IAF) offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian Citizens from all Islands of Union Territory of Lakshadweep to join as Airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group 'X' (Technical) Trades and Group 'Y' (Non-Technical) Trades {except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF(P), IAF(S), Med Asst & Musician Trades} will be held at Government Higher Secondary School, Kavaratti, Lakshadweep Island. The Recruitment Rally from 5th April 2017 to 10th April 2017.

OR Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering, from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course. |

₹ 23,535/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual. |

The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 6 AM onwards. Candidates (from all Islands of Union Territory of Lakshadweep) fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions and reporting up to 10 AM on 05 April 2017 at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.
